Catching Up...

A lot has happened in 3 short weeks:
Dan, Allison and Ellie came to visit us
Lydia graduated 3 year old preschool (and it is missed MUCH)
Hannah turned 6 months-wow 6 months I just can't believe it! She had her Dr appt and is 26.25 inches long and 16.13ozs. She is developmentally right now track and is starting to eat solids carrots down and we just started sweet potatoes.
The girls and I head to Colorado tomorrow afternoon so I will post those phtoos when we et back.

Well the computer won't upload more photos so I will try later...if I remember!

5 Months

I can't believe our baby is 5 months old already. Even though it has been a rough road it has flown. I am so excited to announce that as of Monday she is a healthy baby girl, she passed all her hemoglobin tests for her stool and there were no traces! We had a rough two weeks experimenting with new pharmicutical amino acid based formula but we finally found one that is working. (as I type this she is scremaing her head off-yikes, Daddy has her) Her volume isn't back to where it once was but she is doing well. Lydia is enjoying every minute of this spring weather we have. She LOVES to play outside with the neighborhood kids and enjoys giving Charlie attention in the back yard! She finishes preschool in two weeks and I am sure she will miss that a ton as will I. She is excited for her cousin Ellie to be visiting next weekend but wishes we could go there since she has "lots of cool toys and a huge house to play in", but I am sure they will get along just fine here. Kris and I are doing well. This Sunday we were able to get away for dinner and the musical "Wicked" it was great and so night to have couple time for the first time in since Hannah was born. Here are some photos of the girls.

Rolly Polly

Hannah rolled for the 1st time this afternoon. By bedtime it was up to 20 or so times, from back to belly. She gets so mad when she gets on her belly though, hopefully soon she will learn to roll back to her back. It was so fun to watch!

zoo egg hunt

Sunday we went to our annual Zoo egg hunt. It was CRAZY. I don't remember it being this bad, but Lydia did the Egg Hunt twice and never got a single egg, she did get some candy though and was happy with that. She even was excited to see the Easter Bunny himself. Hannah was asleep when we got to the bunny so she missed him.

4 Months

Hannah had her 4 months check up Monday and she passed with flying colors!
14lbs 3oz! The shots sucked but we made it through. I am thinking there might be a tooth coming in but that we will find out soon enough.

I have finally come to terms with her being on formula and have decided to give all my frozen milk to a Milk Bank out of a hospital in Denver. It is used by babies who are in life threatening situaions and premies. I feel very warm inside knowing that I might save a babies life! I read many of the thank you's the mothers who use the milk bank wrote and I cried and cried, as I have never been in that situation but it made me look at my kids and thank God for them. Even though Hannah has had and continues to have struggles none are as bad as what these babies have gone through or the parents. I couldn't even imagine and to be honest nor do I want to imagine.

With that note, here are the two cutie pies!

Hannah always is checking to see where Sister is!

pure love, I find Lydia doing this all the time, she just LOVES her baby sissy!
