Healthy Baby Girl!
Kris and I are so excited.
Lydia is So very mad that it isn't a brother, we can't figure out why she is mad she won't tell us besides sharing her dolls!
We have another ultrasound in a month, the baby was stubborn (imagine that) and was on her back so they couldn't view her spinal cord and they want to get better pictures of her kidney's, legs and feet. She moved the entire ultrasound!

Lydia's 3rd Birthday
I guess I will just say it, My mom was right, time does fly by when your kids are little so enjoy it. I just can't believe she is 3 already. Where oh where did the last three years go to. It seems like not too long ago I was pregnant with her and picking out her crib set and today I just picked out her first big kid bike and looked at back packs and lunchboxes for preschool.
I do know that she is the best thing to happen to Kris and I and we are truely blessed to have her as our daughter!
-She is full of energy
-She is stubborn, determined and knows how to get what she wants
-She likes to be the life of the party only after she has warmed up to you
-She talks non and I mean NON stop
-She knows her ABC's by sight, her colors, shapes and we are working on numbers
-She learned how to ride her bike in 5 mintues (yes it has training wheels)
-She loves being a mommy to her babies and can't wait to meet her baby brother or sister
-She has the most contagious laugh
-She has the biggest eyes and smile when she is happy
-She loves to read, swim, bike, garden with mommy, play in her sandbox, play with her friends, play on the swimset and play house.
-In my opinion she is the best 3 year old ever!
Here are a few photos of the day. We had a birthday party for her in the backyard, it involved water since it was 98 yestereday. She had a blast!

Couer d'Alene Vacation
Friday we got back from a week long vacation to North Idaho. We went to Coeur D'Alene. It is a town on a BIG lake in the mountains. (no not the great lakes big but big for the west) We had a blast. The city park was fantastic, it had a huge play set and two sandy beaches to play on. We spent every afternoon at the lake or river playing and building in the sand. We went fishing one morning and Lydia caught a little fish on her pole, she was excited but freaked out. She wanted to know where the mommy and daddy were and if we could take it home to be with Goldie (our Beta). We also went Kayaking on the lake one afternoon, but not very long. I was a little too nervous with a 3 year old and being 4.5 months pregnant. The trip was a great time and we are so glad we went. We are getting ready for Lydia's 3rd Birthday Party this Saturday. I can't believe my baby girl is 3 already. Where does the time go???

Happy 4th of July
Wow, I can't believe it is the 4th already. Where has the time gone? We have been able to enjoy a beautiful weekend with celebrations with friends and our little family. We have wonderful weather, in the 70's and low 80's, usually we are in the triple digits by now so it is areal treat.
Saturday morning we went to our 1st Boise 4th of July parade. Lydia had a blast. Candy, balloons and a stuffed animal. What more could an almost 3 year old want. We ended the day with our friends and neighbors at a BBQ. It was really nice but I of course over did it with the food and we had to leave early, before the fireworks.
Today we are just getting the house and us ready for our trip to Couer D Alene this week. We are excited to be exploring the Northern part of Idaho and all the beauty it holds. We won't make it to the fireworks tonight as they don't start until after my bedtime I think 10:15, maybe I will get to see DC's on the TV.
Here are some photos of Lydia and one of my at 16.5 weeks pregnant, I have had lot so questions if I am showing or not and I have to say I am starting to show, but not much yet.
