Lydia's Dance Recital

This last Wednesday Lydia has her 1st dance recital, she danced to the Nutcracker and just had a blast. Getting ready to go look at lights!

Hannah's 1st Birthday

_We celebrated Hannah's 1st birthday in style. We had a small gathering of her friends and had cupcakes. I made for the 1st time egg, dairy, soy free cupcakes and they turned out pretty good. She figured out how to open her presents pretty quickly and she had a blast.
The past year has really flown by. The first 5 months of her life were very hard and I never thought we would make it through, but we did. She did and we did and so did Lydia. I am very thankful to Dr. Thompson for taking me serious and testing her for allergies and getting us on the right track. I felt like I was one of those Mom's that no one took serious but I new my baby had something wrong and once it was fixed she was a whole new kid. I guess the one thing I learned the most this past year is ALWAYS follow your gut instinct mom's are always right. Hannah has turned into an amazing busy little baby girl. She just LOVES her big sister, stuffed animals and destroying anything. She is constantly moving or doing something, never sitting still. She is still crawling but I don't think walking is too far in the future. She is a very serious baby as well, smiles seldom but when she does it lights up the room. She has the cutest little laugh ever. We have been truly blessed with the birth of this little girl and have learned just how strong we are and how fortunate we are to have our family and friends who made this year so much easier. On that note we will be taking donations to replace our furniture and carpets as this little girl has dosed them with her stomach contents a few hundred times!! :)

Thanksgiving

This year we headed to Seattle to spend it with my brother Dan and his family. The drive was good, if you consider getting stuck on Snowqualime (sp) pass for 4 hours good, but the kids did great and we are Thankful for that. We had a good time at Dan's and a great feast. We attended the Gingerbread Village at the Sheraton D-town. The houses were AMAZING. We had a great time!
We are getting ready for Christmas and Hannah's 1st b-day.
