Swimming Lessons

As you will see in the photos Lydia started to enjoy swimming lessons. She even "dived like the big kids" her words.

Baby Updated

I had my 2nd DR's appt today. I personally have lost weight-yeah! Why can't this happen when I try???? The baby has a very strong heartbeat at 160. So now I am second guessing my theory that it is a boy. Lydia was always 160.
I am feeling worse as the week goes on and hope it isn't a sign for the next few weeks.
I have lots of photos and a video of swimming to share and will post later this weekend.

Love to all

I want a "Fishing Wand"

Yesterday we had COLD RAINY SNOWY weather so we packed up the car and headed to buy Kris a fishing license and look at camping gear. We have been talking about going camping with Lydia this summer so we need to get her a warm sleeping bag and a bigger tent. While we were there she asked to get a "Fishing Wand" so Kris and I put two and two together and went and looked at Fished Rods. Well she picked out a princess one and I think already has the hang of it. Next nice weekend we are going to take her to a local pond to try it out. But here she is fishing in the kitchen.

She has been in swimming lessons all last week and will continue this week. She did well but cried the 1st three days, well Mom finally got smart and day 4 I bribed with McDonald's. Well guess what, it worked she was happy, smiles and having a lot of fun.

Helping Daddy wash the car!

I am feeling OK, I feel 100 times better than I did with Lydia's pregnancy but still don't feel great. I have terrible acid reflux and heart burn and wake up nauseous. I hope it continues like this and gets better soon. We go back to the Dr on Friday so I will post and let you know how things are.

Grandma and Grandpa visit

We had the pleasure of having my parents here for the last two weeks. Lydia just loved the built in play partners. Mom was as usually a huge help around the house and both mom and dad were a huge help with Lydia. The only thing that stunk was the 2 weeks of wind and rain we had and guess what, today is 70, ths first day they left :(-.

While Mom and Dad were here we went and feed the ducks downtown, got ice cream a few times, Grandpa built a BIG sandbox, rode our bike went to the park, celebrated Mom's birthday, Kris's birthday and Mother's Day. We toured the state capital building. Kris and I got to go see Sugarland in Concert, it was a lot of fun and the first concert we had been to together since before Lydia was born. We also had a date night at DQ for a blizzard which was nice since we seem to not have many night together anymore with me working two PT jobs.
It was so nice to have them, we miss them like crazy but we have an action packed
vacation planned for July to visit them.
